Inauguration

Moraine Valley is located at 9000 W. College Parkway, Palos Hills, IL. For directions to the college, visit the Travel Directions page on the website.

Guests can park in the C3 parking lot, which is located west of Building C (see campus map). Spaces will be reserved for guests attending the Investiture. Officers will be onsite to assist guests with parking. Handicapped guests can be dropped off in the circular drive outside of Building G, where the Investiture will take place.

The Investiture Ceremony and reception will take place in Building G. Guests can enter the doors on the north side of the building beginning at 2 p.m. Seating will be in the bleachers with some floor seating available.

The Investiture Reception also will be on the first floor of Building G. It will begin immediately following the ceremony. Guests can access the reception through the gymnasium doors and will not need to go back outside.

Important notes:

• Delegates will need to provide their own regalia to participate in the Investiture procession.
• Delegates should arrive to Moraine Valley by 2 p.m. You can park in the A2 parking lot located west of Building A and enter the northwest doors. Go to Room A171 for dressing. Volunteers will help direct you when you enter the building.
• Once you are dressed, photographs with Dr. Haney will begin about 2:15 p.m. in the photo studio. A volunteer will direct you to that location.
• Line-up for the ceremony will begin at 2:45 p.m. along the Building A hallway.
• A community service officer will stay outside of A171 throughout the afternoon, so you can leave your valuables in that room during the ceremony and reception.
