During these unprecedented times, we here at the Fine and Performing Arts Center at Moraine Valley Community College are doing our best to stay informed and make the best decisions. As such, we have made the decision to cancel all events for the remainder of 2020. We hope to kick off the season in January 2021.
The following ticketed performances have been canceled:
- The Mystical Arts of Tibet: Sacred Music/Sacred Dance for World Healing
- “Broadway Women” featuring Joan Curto
- Jim Witter’s “Fire and Rain”
- Koresh Dance Company
- The Good Humor Men
- Broadway Baritones
- Moraine Chorale and Chamber Singers – Patriotic Concert
On June 1, 2020 our Box Office staff will begin to reach out to patrons holding tickets for the canceled performances. Patrons will have the option to receive a credit in exchange for their tickets, donate their tickets to the Moraine Valley Foundation or receive a refund for their purchased tickets. Action must be taken on tickets no later than July 31, 2020.
Patrons holding tickets for Eurydice and the Broadway/Pop/Motion Picture Chorale who did not take action by May 1, 2020, have since received a credit in exchange for their tickets.
In the event that patrons holding tickets do not take action or could not be reached by the deadlines previously listed, tickets will be transferred into a credit. This credit will never expire and can be used toward any future event at the Fine and Performing Art Center.
At this difficult time, we are thankful to be a part of the arts community with all of you – our friends, colleagues and patrons. We look forward to welcoming you when our doors reopen.
Please note, due to current circumstances, the college is closed. The Box Office staff will be answering calls and emails Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. We thank you in advance for your understanding and patience.
