Personal Training Programming Strengths: I wouldn’t say I have just one strength, I would say I have many. In my personal training career, I have been able to work with clients who are brand new to fitness. This style of client needs guidance and education about exercise. Other clients had fitness goals. This is when I create a program to guide my client to achieve their goals. Last, I have had opportunities to train and work with high school cheerleaders, women’s softball and men’s basketball athletes.
Exercise Equipment that you specialize in: I use all equipment when it comes to training. Body Weight, Machines, Free Weights, Bosu, Stability Balls, Boxing Bags, Jump Ropes, TRX just to name a few.
I love being a Personal Trainer because: I love being a trainer because I witness people finding their true potential. No one know what they are really made of until they are given that opportunity.
Inspirational/Motivational Quote you live by: “Just Keep Swimming” – Dory from Finding Nemo. “Do or do not. There is no try.”- The Empire Strikes Back
Words that describe your style of Personal Training: I would describe my training style as Energetic, Goal Focus, Education, Safety, Hard Working and Committed.
Favorite Personal Training Memory: I have many great memories of my clients, but the one memory that stands out the most is a girl named Sarah. She watched me from a distance for several months before she came up to me. When we started working together she mentioned one of her fitness goals was to participate in a Triathlon. Being the trainer, I am, I encouraged her to sign up for her first Sprint Triathlon in Naperville. She did the Naperville Tri and was addicted instantly. Sarah went on to do several more Triathlons from Naperville Sprint to Chicago Olympic distance. All because she found her True Potential within herself.
Favorite Healthy Food/Meal: Protein Pancakes with blueberries and almond butter
Least Favorite Exercise or Muscle to train on self: I really don’t have a least favorite exercise. I enjoy working out and the challenges some exercises bring. It reveals my personal, mental and emotional strength.
