SUMMER CAMP – 2025
FitRec offers 8 weeks of summer camp for youth ages 5-12 (to qualify, children must be five years of age by Aug. 31, 2025). The program provides campers the opportunity to participate in recreational activities, arts & crafts, swimming and weekly field trips to Moraine Valley Campus Library and other campus locations. Before and after care is provided for an hour before and an hour after camp. Cost is already included in camp registration fees. All of our camp staff are CPR/AED and First Aid certified for children.
CAMP DATES: June 9-Aug. 8, 2025
Week of June 30, 2025 – There will be daily registration for June 30-July 2 due to the holiday and facility closures. Limited space and availability. FitRec Kid’s Camp WILL NOT run in its entirety the week of June 30 – July 4 due to the July 4 holiday. However, your needs have been heard, and School’s Out Camp will run at limited capacity Monday, June 30 – Wednesday, July 2. Activities will include arts & crafts, recreational games and more. Available on June 30, July 1 and July 2 to children ages 5-12 years old from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Before and after care is NOT included on these days. Registration available as daily option only as of Monday, May 5 and closes on Wednesday, June 25 or when capacity is reached. Capacity is limited to 30 campers.

BEFORE CARE is available from 8-9 a.m.
AFTER CARE is available from 4-5 p.m.
*Before and after care provided at no additional cost.
In addition to after care, there is an option for your child to participate in group swim lessons on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4-4:40 p.m., 4:45-5:25 p.m. or 5:30-6:10 p.m. For an additional cost, your child will learn basic water skills and develop fundamental skills of swimming. Registration closes: The Wednesday before the upcoming week (See dates and registration deadlines for exact dates)
Registration is accepted online and at the Membership Services desk in the FitRec front lobby.
- Refund/Credit Policy
A 100% refund will be given for any program cancelled by FitRec. A 100% refund will be given if a patron submits a refund request form to Membership Services prior to the session registration deadline. A partial credit will be given for the following two reasons: (1) medical issues along with a signed, written note from a licensed practitioner or (2) program not appropriate for maturity/ability of student along with verification from Senior Assistant Director, Programs. Partial credits are based on the value of classes not attended, must be submitted within one week of the last attended class and require participant to submit a refund/credit request form. Late/prorated registrations are not eligible for refunds/credits. Credits will expire within one year of issue. No refunds/credits will be issued due to student absence (schedule conflicts, vacation, etc.)

Early Bird discount – 10% off registration between March 3-31, 2025
*To qualify for member pricing, children 5-12 must be a part of an ACTIVE FitRec monthly membership (not 1-month). This could be a family or an individual plus dependent membership. Member must have/keep active membership for 6 months to be eligible for member rate for camp or subject to pay difference from non-member pricing and $40 early cancellation fee.
