Many different jobs are available in the field of education, but they all have one thing in common – the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others. Qualified professionals are in demand, and you can prepare for this career at Moraine Valley.

Moraine Valley offers education programs for those who would like to obtain a position as a paraprofessional, as well as for individuals who would like to complete the first two years of an early childhood or elementary education degree and go on to a four-year college or university to earn a bachelor’s degree.

In addition, we offer stackable certificates in our early childhood program so students may begin to work in centers as educated professionals.

The A.A.S. degree in our Early Childhood Program allow students to work in preschools, daycares and other settings.

Before and After School Care

This program provides knowledge including the legal requirements for administering and running a before and after-school program.

Moraine Valley Community College has received a new accreditation that opens the doors for additional career and monetary opportunities for students pursuing careers in early childhood education.

Infant and Toddler

This program prepares students for a career in early childhood education in the infant and toddlers field.
