Loconsole finished his season as a Cyclone in 2010 with a 3.06 ERA before throwing for Western Illinois University.

Pitcher Bill Smith was an NJCAA All-American in 2008.

Former baseball player Mike Madsen and former head coach Al Budding traveled to Prague, Czech Republic, in June 2003 to compete in a tournament during Prague Baseball Week. They represented the United States on U.S.A. Athletes, a college all-star team based out of Kansas City.
