Curated Collection
Throughout April we are honoring and celebrating Arab authors and their outstanding books. We have curated a collection of important titles in Arab American literature and thought. Alongside some titles, authors provide a glimpse into their work and share their journey as writers of color. Please check out our online Arab Heritage Month Curated Collection. Most books are also available through the Jenkins Library, Building L, second floor.
Send a Big Message: Letters for Palestine
Students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate in a letter-writing campaign to express their love, rage, solidarity, and commitment to the steadfast people of Palestine and Gaza, in particular. Participants can email members of Congress directly to demand a permanent ceasefire. Individuals also can affirm their solidarity with Palestinians by submitting a letter of support to the people of Palestine or including a copy of your email to your congressperson. If you would like your letters and artwork featured online and on display in the Jenkins Library, please email them to Souzan Naser nasers2@morainevalley.edu or Sundus Madi madis3@morainevalley.edu and indicate that you permit us to display your submission.
