The Behavioral Science/Psychology Department offers courses to help you achieve your goals. We offer an Associate of Arts degree for those seeking a two-year degree and enter the workforce. We also offer an Associate of Arts transfer degree designed for those looking to transfer and complete a bachelor’s degree.

What Classes Can I Take?

Psychology is the study of mind and behavior. It is an academic discipline and an applied science, which seeks to understand individuals and groups by establishing general principles and researching specific cases.

In this field, a professional is called a psychologist and can be classified as a social, behavioral, or cognitive scientist.

According to careersinpsychology.com, some of the careers you can pursue with an advanced degree include: Child Psychologist, Community Relations Director, Psychiatrist, Occupational Therapist, Sociologist or a Crisis Intervention Counselor.
