  6. Creating transfer guides for Loyola varies by major. Each department at Loyola may display information differently. After selecting your major in the previous step, look for a link to the program curriculum. In many cases, this will display a course list for your program of study. Print this course list. If you cannot find a course list for your intended major, it is highly recommended to speak with a Transfer Admission Counselor at Loyola. They can be reached by phone at 773-508-3075 or by email at transfer@luc.edu.
  7. View the Undergraduate Transfer Course List to translate the courses on your curriculum guide into Moraine Valley courses. Select “Illinois” from the dropdown box for state, and “Moraine Valley Community College” as your institution.
    • The subject field will require a bit of trial and error. This database shows how Moraine Valley courses transfer into Loyola; not the other way around. You should be able to match up subject areas to find most courses without difficulty.
    • Once you select a subject, a list of transfer equivalencies will populate the area below. Moraine Valley courses are under “Courses Transferred From” on the left with their Loyola equivalencies on the right.
    • By selecting the checkboxes under “MyList” you can create a list of courses to take at Moraine Valley that will transfer to Loyola. You can navigate from one subject to the next and “MyList” will remember what you checked.
    • When you are finished selecting courses, click “Generate MyList Report.” A table will pop up with all your selected course equivalencies for you to print.
    • It is strongly recommended you meet with an Academic Advisor at Moraine Valley in S201 to determine the best plan to meet your transfer requirements while completing your associate’s degree.
