Moraine Valley Fine and Performing Arts Center Returns With a Lineup of In-Person Shows

The Moraine Valley Community College Fine and Performing Arts Center (FPAC) is opening its doors after 17 months for a full lineup of in-person professional and academic shows. Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning Monday, Aug. 30. Professional Series:

• Vitaly: An Evening of Wonders- Saturday, Sept. 25, 7:30 p.m.
• Cerqua Rivera Dance Theater- Saturday, Oct. 9, 7:30 p.m.
• “Steppin’ Out” with Ben Vereen- Saturday, Oct. 16, 7:30 p.m.
• “Fire and Rain” featuring Jim Witter with Giselle Sanderson- Saturday, Oct. 23, 7:30 p.m.
• “Songs for Syria” featuring Bassel and The Supernaturals, Mariela Shaker and Omar Offendum- Saturday, Nov. 20, 3 p.m.
• Christmas in Killarney – An Irish Christmas Celebration- Saturday, Dec. 11, 7:30 p.m.
• The Second City Remix- Saturday, Jan. 29, 7:30 p.m.
• Koresh Dance Company presents “La Danse”- Saturday, Feb. 5, 7:30 p.m.
• New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players present “The Pirates of Penzance”- Saturday, March 12, 7:30 p.m.
• Giordano Dance Chicago- Saturday, March 19, 7:30 p.m.
• Small Island, Big Song- Friday, April 1, 7:30 p.m.
• Niyaz presents “The Fourth Light Project – An Immersive Multimedia Experience”- Saturday, April 9, 7:30 p.m.

Salon Series:

• Still Rockin’! A Hilarious Musical Tribute to Baby Boomers featuring Pam Peterson and Jan Slavin- Sunday, Jan. 23, 2 and 5:30 p.m.
• Unforgettable: Songs and Stories from The Great American Songbook featuring Jodi Beach with the Jodi Beach Trio- Sunday, May 15, 2 and 5:30 p.m.

All performances will be held in the Dorothy Menker Theater, but are subject to change. Professional Series shows are $35 for the general public, $31.50 for members, $28 for veterans and active military, and free for students with an ID. The Salon Series is $25-$30 for the general public, $22.50-$27 for members, $20-$25 for military and free for students. The FPAC has taken measures to ensure the safety of audience members, staff and performers. Masks must be worn indoors by all non-performers, and a CampusClear self-screening must be completed on the app or website, or on a paper form provided upon entering the building.
