Moraine Valley is honored to have those who served our country in the military as members of our college community. The Veterans Resource Center is the go-to resource for student veterans and dependents. We are committed to being a veteran-centered campus and helping our veterans succeed.

The Veterans Resource Center assists veterans and dependents in understanding how to apply for and use veterans' educational benefits. Our staff also helps student veterans and dependents enroll in classes.

We connect student veterans and dependents with other campus resources, like the Job Resource Center or the Center for Disability Services. Moraine Valley provides free access for full-time students to the 110,000 square foot Health, Fitness, & Recreation Center (Fit-Rec).

Boots to College is the Student Veterans of America (SVA) Chapter for Moraine Valley Community College.

SVA's vision for campus chapters, "These local organizations are the “boots on the ground” that provide peer-to-peer support, which has been linked to academic success and an easier transition to campus for student veterans." Our focus for Boots to College is assisting in the transition to college life and establishing a lifelong network of friends.
