Indian and Pakistani Student Union

The Indian and Pakistani Student Union serves Indian and Pakistani students, by introducing and promoting Indian and Pakistani cultural values. The Indian and Pakistani Student Union is devoted to strengthening the bond among the Indian and Pakistani students and the community at Moraine Valley Community College through our cultural and social events.

The Indian and Pakistani Student Union would like to give students, staff, and community residents an opportunity to interact with our dynamic group. We are students seeking will, interested and motivated people to work together. By joining Indian and Pakistani Student Union, you will enjoy and lean about colorful, interesting and ancient cultures, as well as the incredible history of India and Pakistan.

Purpose

• Provide an environment in which students can learn and grow through organizational and leadership skills.

• Provide a link between Indian and Pakistani students to maintain our cultural identity.

• Enhance community awareness about Indian and Pakistani culture.

• Develop events and activities that are responsive to the needs of Indian and Pakistani students.

• Promote student participation in activities.

• Encourage Indian and Pakistani students to improve personal, academic, and career growth.

• Create unity among various ethnic groups.

• Maintain continuous celebration of cultural, religious and historical events.
