Construction—Excitement on Campus

WOW! That’s the reaction many experience as they view the transformation of the college’s landscape
with the Moraine Business and Conference Center, the Dr. Vernon O. Crawley Science Hall, the Student
Union, and the Student Services Center projects moving closer to completion. We expect the Student
Union to be completed midway through the spring semester, the Moraine Business and Conference Center
and Dr. Vernon O. Crawley Science Hall in summer 2009, and the Student Services Center to be ready in
2010. Also, work should begin on the new Southwest Education Center in Tinley Park this winter or spring
with completion expected in fall 2010. Keep watching the exciting changes on our Web cam at

The new Student Union will feature study space, a Cyber Café, and an expanded eating area.

The modern labs and increased classrooms in the Dr. Vernon O. Crawley Science Hall will help us meet the growing need for health care workers and make it easier for all students to take science classes.

The Moraine Business and Conference Center will have classroom and meeting room capacity to better serve our students and the community.
