Honors Program Enlivens
Your Education
Oliver
Wendell Holmes said, “The main part of intellectual education is not the
acquisition of facts but learning how to make facts live.” If you’re an academic
high achiever who would like to have your education really come to life, check
out the Honors Program. You’ll take classes that emphasize critical thinking,
spirited debate, and hands-on learning.
This fall, the newest Honors Learning Community lets Honors Program participants
take an exciting journey through time to explore history, literature,
philosophy, religion, and the visual and performing arts from prehistory through
the Renaissance. Register for HUM-101-160 –Western Humanities I: Foundations and
ART-205-160 – Survey of Art I to discover through the arts what early societies
were actually like. To find out if you qualify for the Honors Program, visit
