Then and Now: Moraine Valley Celebrates 40 Years


1967		2007
Approximately 1,200 students attended Moraine Valley in a leased warehouse in Alsip.	è	Almost 48,000 credit and noncredit students attend Moraine Valley annually at the main campus in Palos Hills and at convenient neighborhood extension sites, including the Education Center at Blue Island.
Students were listening to the Beatles and Motown on 45s and LPs.	è	Students listen to Beyoncé, Fergie and Kelly Clarkson on iPods.
They wore bell bottoms, tie-dyed shirts and go-go boots to class.	è	They wear bling, pajama bottoms and Uggs.
