The COMPASS Lab administers several different tests to students including the COMPASS placement tests, College Level Examination Program (CLEP) tests, Microsoft certification tests, IC3, and ACT certification tests.

COMPASS placement tests—COMPASS is a computerized placement test that helps place students into appropriate English composition, reading and math courses. For sample questions in the area of English, reading and math, go to www.act.org/compass.

College Level Examination Program (CLEP) test—CLEP is a national program that allows you to obtain recognition for college-level achievement. It is a 90-minute examination with immediate results that can help you get the college credits you need to reach your career and educational goals more quickly. Microsoft Office and IC3 certification tests—Moraine Valley is proud to offer Microsoft Office certification and IC3 testing.

ACT Testing Center—Offers "High Stakes Testing" to community members who are eligible to be licensed or certified in a professional area.

VUE Testing Center—Offers over sixty nation and international certification exams for the IT professional. These exam have become the industries standards and once certified increase a persons credibility. For additional information and how to register go to www.pearsonvue.com.
