  • The $5 purchase fee will be credited to your transit account when you go to ventrachicago.com to register your card.
  • Registering your card also gives you access to convenient account management features online or over the phone.
  • Customers may later return to the Cashier’s Office to add transit value or passes to the same card.
  • If your Ventra™ card is lost AND was registered, you may cancel it on the associated Ventra Account by calling 1.877.NOW.VENTRA (1.877.669.8368) and request a replacement card (a $5 replacement fee will apply).

The Reflection, Prayer, and Meditation Room

Building U, Room U206, and is available for use during normal building hours.
The Reflection Room is intended to provide a safe, physical space for multi-faith students and other members of the college community to meditate, pray and otherwise spend time in quiet reflection.
Please be respectful of those already in the room when you enter and exit, and when you are passing by in the hallway.

Single-Occupancy, Gender-Neutral Restrooms

In an effort to make all students feel comfortable using the restroom, Student Life has converted the men and women's restrooms on the second floor of the Student Union (Building U) into single occupancy, gender neutral restrooms. These two lockable restrooms are designed for use by a single individual or family and are not gender specific. Changing tables also have been installed. These restrooms can benefit parents with differently gendered children, people who necessitate an attendant in the restroom who may be of a different gender, people who are transgender or gender-queer, and people who have other specific needs for privacy.

Lactation Room

To support our students who are nursing mothers, the college provides a private lactation room. Located on the second floor of Building L, Room L269, the room is equipped with a comfortable chair, table, sink and electrical outlets. Students will need to provide their own pumps, cold storage, and other needed supplies. Students needing to use the room must pick up the key from the Student Life Office in Building U, Room U115 by presenting a valid Moraine Valley student ID. The key can be checked out Monday-Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Fridays 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.. Questions and concerns can be directed to the Student Life Office at (708) 974-5717 or the Title IX Coordinator and Vice President of Student Development at (708) 974-5209.
