The purpose of the Moraine Valley Community College student email system, in partnership with Microsoft®, is to provide a means of communicating official college information to students. The Moraine Valley Help Desk can assist students with usernames and passwords for student email.
*Please note that the student email accounts are Windows-Live™ accounts hosted by Microsoft. There are many additional applications and features that come with the Windows-Live™ accounts (free web apps, SkyDrive, photo and document sharing, calendar, contacts, chat, mobile sync, etc.) These additional applications and features are not supported by the Moraine Valley Help Desk. Students can get help for these additional applications and features by clicking on the Help Center link within their Windows-Live™ account.
Email is a cost-effective, convenient, and rapid means of communicating between the college and students. The college has selected an email system that is 100 percent accessible over the Internet through standard browsers to provide universal access for all students. Student email is accessible from anywhere there is an available Internet connection whether at home, a local library, within the college in a computer lab, or at any of the open and available workstations distributed throughout the campus. This procedure ensures that all students have access to this important form of communication.
Students must use the email account provided by Moraine Valley as their official means of communication and are required to comply with the college guidelines and policy regarding its use.

Mon.-Fri. 7 a.m.-10 p.m., Sat. 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Sun. Noon-4 p.m.
*Closed on national holidays when the college is closed.
