Mission
The mission of the Criminal Justice Program is to provide a broad-based academic experience which prepares students for a variety of options including: pursuit of entry-level employment in the criminal justice system; preparation for transfer to four-year colleges and universities; professional development for those already employed in the field, and general knowledge for those interested in justice issues.  In addition to specific content knowledge, students will develop critical thinking skills, cross-cultural awareness, ethical understanding and communication skills.
