Mission
The mission of the Child Care Program at Moraine Valley Community College is to
prepare students to become effective teachers of young children, ages birth to 8, who will work in a variety of settings. It is the intent of the
Child Care Program to foster learning through the knowledge of developmentally
appropriate practices, and a variety of teaching methods and skills that meet
the needs of the young child.
Criminal Background Checks: In order to comply with certain state statutes and/or
clinical affiliation agreements, students may be asked to complete a criminal
background check.
