Special Admission Requirements
The radiologic technology program begins only in June each year and has special admission requirements and limited enrollment. Applicants are responsible for ensuring that all admission requirements are met and all documents and scores are submitted on time. Only complete application files will be reviewed for admission. Please carefully review the
admission requirements.
Required Courses
(67 credit hours)
The following suggested schedule is based on full-time enrollment. The required
RAD courses must be completed in the sequence indicated. The additional courses
may be completed prior to program admission or during the semester indicated.
The required biology, mathematics and medical terminology courses must have been completed
no longer than 5
years prior to the program admission deadline. Students must earn a "C" or better in each
RAD class (theory and clinical) and BIO-115
(or BIO-180
and BIO-181),
MRT-110,
MRT-130
and PHB-105.

Graduation Requirements
Official high school transcript with date of
graduation or a GED certificate; minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0;
successful completion of all course requirements and the minimum number of
credit hours for the specific degree; minimum of 15 semester hours completed at
Moraine Valley; constitution requirement; a "C" grade or better in
COM-101 and a "C" grade or better in
COM-102 if
COM-102 is required for this program; successful completion of minimum level
of competency in Mathematics; submission of graduation petition to the Records Office by
