Crime Statistics
The Moraine
Valley Police Department in keeping with the national program on uniform
crime reporting, is required to provide the following categories of criminal
incidents. These statistics are provided for your use in comparing Moraine
Valley Community College incidents to that of other institutions of higher
learning. (These statistics are compiled from January 1 through December 31 of
each year).

* Incidents reported in the “Non-Campus Property” column are crimes that were
reported to the Oak Lawn Police Department which occurred at Christ Hospital
during times when MVCC students were present conducting clinical studies and
internships with the exception being one motor vehicle theft which was reported
to the Evergreen Park Police Department as having occurred at Evergreen Park
High School at a time when MVCC students were present there. No MVCC students
were involved in any of these reported criminal incidents.
