We feature courses ranging from computers to home improvement to dance and
everything in between!  Check out other non-credit classes offered at
Andrew High School and the Blue Island Education Center.  If you need

Dance

Ballroom Dancing, Beginning
Learn proper dance techniques in leading and following. You will also learn the basic elements of the waltz, fox trot, tango, rhumba, Latin cha-cha, and swing dance. Couples only. Each person registers individually.

Ballroom Dancing, Continued
Learn and practice more sophisticated movements and add new ballroom dances to your repertoire. Wear soft-soled shoes. Couples only. Each person registers individually. Prerequisite: Beginning Ballroom Dancing (DN4-240) or equivalent.

Country-Western Line Dancing I
Learn line dancing and enjoy the fun from this great aerobic exercise. You'll find out that: a Grapevine isn't something found in a vineyard, a Hitch is not an error in the plans you made, and a Jazz Square is not a nerd who plays trumpet. You'll learn all the basic line dancing steps and one to two new dances each week. You won't want to miss this great way to "work out"! So get up, get out, and get dancin'! Remember this is just for YOU - no partner necessary.

Wedding Dance Preparation
The bride and groom will learn with confidence their first dance as husband and wife.  They will dance to the music or song of thier preference, making their first dance most memorable and unique.  We will also focus on the other significance member in the wedding party ensuring the wedding is truly a gala celebration.  Couples only.  Each person registers individually.  Wear soft-soled shoes.

Social and Swing Dance, Beginning
Learn the moves of dances such as, The Waltz, Fox Trot, Electric Slide, Polka and Slow dancing, and swing steps too! Couples only. Each person must register individually.
