The following courses are designed for people who need to become proficient on computers. All classes are offered in a Windows XP format. Attendance certificates are given to students who attend 90 percent of each class within the courses. For more information, call (708) 974-5735.

Computer Basics
KEYBOARDING ON THE COMPUTER
Students will learn proper finger techniques while increasing speed and accuracy. Textbook required.

EBAY: SELLING BASICS
If you want to know how to sell or simply pick up new tips, this is the class for you. You will learn how to open a seller account, do research, create listings, set pricing, monitor listings and complete transactions. Book to be purchased from instructor. Cost of book approximately $21.

EBAY: BEYOND THE BASICS
Open an e-Bay store. Choose the right listing format, create compelling listings, use eBay listing tools, market your eBay business, pack and ship inventory and use on-line payments. Prerequisite: e-Bay Selling Basics(MC4-405). Book to be purchased from instructor. Cost of book approximately $21.

Internet Basics
INTERNET 1
Overview of the Internet and World Wide Web. Use common search engines, apply successful search techniques and communicate using electronic mail. Prerequisite: Windows or equivalent and keyboarding skills. Textbook required.

This lecture only course teaches the student the fundamentals of using QuickBooks software to effectively maintain accounting records.
