Internships—Where Can
You Serve an Internship?
|
Current students from Moraine Valley Community College hold internships
in a variety of industries. Students have interned at hospitals, hotels
and convention centers, bakeries, radio stations, golf courses,
insurance agencies, fitness facilities, medical offices, accounting
firms, welding shops, manufacturing companies, museums, amusement parks,
political campaigns, newspapers/magazines, architectural firms, and
many more locations. To be eligible for an internship, you must be a
current Moraine Valley Community College student who completed one
academic college semester, be in good academic and student standing,
have a cover letter and resume, and meet with the Internship Manager.

Disney
Internship—The Disney College Program with Walt Disney World and
Disneyland offer a one-of-a-kind internship that combines education
opportunities and work experience while living in Florida or California for 5-8
months. Students who receive an offer of an internship must meet the following
requirements; be in good academic (2.0 GPA or better) and be in good student
standing, completed one semester at Moraine Valley prior to applying, and attend the mandatory meetings
(individual appointment with Internship Manager, Offer Session, and Bon Voyage).
Students may also have the opportunity to earn academic credit which may count
toward your graduation requirements. Contact Internship Manager, Marie Harrell

- Wednesday, Feb. 15, 3 p.m.
Both sessions will be held in Building T, Fogelson
Theater. You only have to attend one session.
Before
paying the non-refundable registration fee, please consult with
the Job Resource Center Internship Manager to ensure eligibility in the Disney
College Program.
