Services for Current Students

We encourage you to utilize services to help you make a successful career choice. Our staff is available to meet with you individually to help with your questions, to assist you with the job search process, or develop a job search plan.

• College Central Network—This service is an Internet-based job listing service sponsored by 12 local community colleges. You may review jobs and post your resume for employers to view. Review career-related resources, learn about upcoming events and stay connected with the Job Resource Center with your own homepage.
• You must create a log-in to access this database and activate your account.

• Internships—Check out the opportunities for current Moraine Valley students to pursue an internship to acquire hands-on experience prior to graduation.

• Day Workshops for Students

• Evening Workshops—Recommended for community and graduates. Check the workshop schedule and register today by calling (708) 974-2110 or by visiting MVConnect.

• On Campus Employers

• Internet Sites—Use these links to harness the power of the Internet in your job search.

• Useful Moraine Valley Sites

• Individual Appointments—A job resource specialist is available to answer your questions on job search techniques, critique resumes, or provide follow-up to any of the JRC workshops. Assistance is available by appointment. Call (708) 974-5737 to arrange an appointment.

• Walk-in Hours—A brief 15 minute session with a Job Resource Specialist. No appointment necessary; first come first serve.
  Tuesdays 3-4 p.m.
  Wednesdays 9-10 a.m.
