About These Expectations
These Information Literacy General
Education Expectations were created by the Communications and
Library faculty members during the 2006-2007 academic year. They are
intended to be an informal tool that fosters a better understanding
of Information Literacy as a general education outcome at Moraine
Valley Community College within the context of first-year writing
and beginning speech.
