Program
This year's theme is "Bridging the Gap: Knowledge Creation, Information Literacy, and the Role of Technology in Education," and will feature a keynote presentation by Dr. Nicholas Burbules, the Edward William and Jane Marr Gutgsell Professor in the Department of Education Policy, Organization and Leadership.

  • Breakfast and check-in begins at 8:30 a.m.
  • Program 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Cost
$40 for attendees or $20 for presenters (includes breakfast, lunch and materials) for the summits at Illinois State University (Normal) and Moraine Valley Community College (Palos Hills)

$35 (includes breakfast, lunch and materials) for the summit at John A. Logan College (Carterville)

Who should attend?

  • Librarians who are involved with teaching and learning in almost any aspect. Academic, school, public and special librarians attend.
  • Teachers and other educators who want to discuss information literacy, student research and student use of information.
