Attention: Students Considering C#, C++, Java, RPG, and
Visual Basic Programming
Most programming language courses will be
held only once per year. You should look at
the
Course
Offering Schedule in the curriculum packets to determine when the courses
you need will be running.
Students considering starting a new programming language track should check the schedule to determine which semester a chosen track will start. We
recommend that you continue taking courses in your track in successive semesters
or you run the risk of having to wait for the next offering you need.
Not every course is offered every semester.

Lacee Kallemeyn Named 2012 Intern of the Year
Lacee Kallemeyn, Office Systems and Applications intern, was named 2012 Intern of the Year at the sixth annual
Intern and Employer Meeting and Awards Ceremony on May 11, 2012.
This award goes to an intern who has demonstrated outstanding skills, work ethic, and potential during his/her internship experience.
Lacee interned at the Children’s Museum in Oak Lawn. Her nominator said, “Lacee exemplifies the word professional.
Throughout her internship, Lacee was someone we came to depend on as our “go to” person when something needed to be done.”
He also said that what he admired most about Lacee was her character. Even though the position was non-paid no one would have ever
known interacting with Lacee. Her dedication, commitment, and initiative shined as an intern at the museum.
“Lacee’s positive, friendly attitude was contagious amongst our staff. The Children’s Museum in Oak Lawn is a better place because Lacee K. interned with us.”
Lacee completed the Receptionist/Office Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Legal Office Assistant, and Data Entry Certificates.
She also completed the A.A.S. Degree in Office Systems and Applications.
She has been named to the President’s List for High Honors and is Microsoft Certified.

Congratulations, Lacee!
