Center for Contemporary Technology Open Lab Hours
Lab Closed: The T-Building is closed on Sundays and therefore the CCT Open Lab is also closed on Sundays. The lab is also closed when the campus is closed for holidays. If a tutor cannot make their regularly scheduled time due to sickness, or personal matter, every attempt will be made to post a sign in the lab. Please be aware that in the event of an occasional tutor absence this web page will not be updated. If a tutors' hours permanently change this webpage will be updated. We apologize in advance if this causes any inconvenience. Open Lab and Tutoring: Tutoring is free and open to any students currently enrolled in classes at Moraine Valley. Students must present a validated student photo I.D. to work in the Open Lab. Students may validate their current photo I.D., or apply for a photo I.D. if they don't already have one, at the Student Services Center, Student Street, S100. Tutors can help students with using Student Email, Blackboard, Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.) and specific assignments in CSC, IMS, MIS and OSA classes as listed below the tutor schedule. If a course is not listed, the tutors may still be able to assist you, just ask. Printing in the Open Lab: To issue a print command from the Open Lab, students must have a pay-for-print debit card. Printing in the lab costs ten cents per page. These cards can be purchased in the CCT Open Lab. The print card machine in the CCT Open Lab takes only bills and does not issue change. Students can add to their print cards using one dollar bills or five dollar bills. Students who do not have bills and have only coins will need to go to the library to add money to their print cards. These new print cards can be used in any of the open lab areas on campus. IMS Tutor
