Schedule of the Mandatory Information Sessions
for Students Interested in Applying to the A.D.N. Nursing Program

All prospective nursing students are required to attend an information session prior to application to the program. There is no fee to attend an information session. Please note that each information session is only valid for 12 months. After 12 months, if you have not been accepted into the nursing program, you will be required to attend another information session in order to apply to the Nursing program. Program pre-requisites, the entrance exam, admission process, and academic requirements (nursing and general education) are covered in detail during each session. Participants also will receive the necessary paperwork to take the entrance exam for the nursing program.

To register please go to the Moraine Valley main website and:

• Under “Hot Topics” click on “Register for Noncredit Classes.”
• Next click on “Prospective Students.”
• Next click on “Search, register and pay for Non-Credit classes.”
• Scroll down to “Topic Code” open the drop down list, choose “Nursing Information Sessions” and click on “Submit.”
• If you are an enrolled student you will go directly to the registration page, click on the “Select” box next to the Nursing Information Session you wish to attend and the click on “Submit.”
• If you are not an enrolled student a student information screen will appear. Fill in the blanks and click on “Submit”. You will then be directed to the registration page.
• Click on the “Select” box next to the Nursing Information Session you wish to attend and the click on “Submit.”

Please Note:

• Only the registered participants will be admitted into the information sessions. No exceptions. Each session has 150 seats available.

• Check-in for registered participants will begin 30 minutes prior to the start of the session

• • NO ONE will be admitted after the session has begun. No exceptions.

• When you check in for the Information Session, you will need to present a government issued photo I.D. or a Moraine Valley photo I.D.
