The Moraine Valley Forensics (Speech) Team
is comprised of students who combine a command of the English language
with a passion for public speaking.
The team competes with other community
colleges and four-year colleges and universities in speaking events that
include:

Public Address ― student-written
original speech on a topic of interest and social merit

Oral Interpretation ― Dramatic
performance of a cut from a play, dialogue with a partner, poetry,
or a mix of several kinds of literature

Limited Preparation ― Impromptu
speech on an assigned topic
