Transfer Scholarships
Robert J. Bobb Memorial Scholarship
Established by former Moraine Valley Community College Foundation Board Member Mrs. Marguriet Bobb in memory of her late husband, this scholarship can be used for tuition, fees or textbooks at Moraine Valley.
Amount: $1,500
Eligibility:
- Must be a graduating senior/incoming freshman from a high school within the Moraine Valley district and remain a district resident;
- plan to pursue a career in business administration or become an entrepreneur;
- must have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 (B) or higher;
- must be a full-time student (12 or more credit hours) per semester; and
- must demonstrate financial need. This award may be renewed for a second year with a minimum Moraine Valley cumulative GPA of 3.5.

Sandra Broadbent Memorial Scholarship
Established in memory of Moraine Valley employee Sandra Broadbent, this scholarship can be used for tuition, fees and books at Moraine Valley.
Amount: $1,500
Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled full time at Moraine Valley, be and remain a district resident and have completed 12 credit hours. Applicant must also demonstrate a history of outstanding commitment to volunteer service in the community, have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, carry a minimum of six credit hours during the semester(s) in which the scholarship is awarded, plan to complete an associate's degree and transfer to a four-year institution to complete a Bachelor's degree, and demonstrate financial need. Applicant must provide documented evidence of community service.
Essay: Submit a typed essay discussing your personal and academic responsibilities, the various agencies you volunteer with and type of
work you do, and what you have learned from being a volunteer.

ComEd Scholarship
Funded by ComEd, this scholarship can be used for tuition, fees, and books at Moraine Valley.
Amount: $1,000
Eligibility: Must be enrolled in a math or science transfer program at the college. Applicant also must be and remain a district resident, carry a minimum of nine credit hours at Moraine Valley during the semester in which the award is received, and demonstrate financial need.

Dr. Vernon O. Crawley Scholarship
Established in honor of President Emeritus Dr. Vernon O. Crawley, this scholarship can be used for tuition, fees, and books at Moraine Valley.
Amount: $1,000
Eligibility: Applicant must be and remain a district resident and enrolled at Moraine Valley Community College. Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, carry a minimum of six credit hours at Moraine Valley during the semester in which the award is received and demonstrate financial need. Preference will be given to students pursuing a degree in Science, Technology, Mathematics or Engineering.

Barbara J. Lehrman Memorial Scholarship
Named in honor of a former Moraine Valley professor, this scholarship is awarded to a graduating Moraine Valley transfer student who completed a degree in August 2012 or December 2012 or will complete a degree in May 2013.
Amount: $500
Eligibility: Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0; be accepted at a four-year institution and enroll at that institution within a year following graduation from Moraine Valley; and plan to major in communications, literature, humanities, or history.

Liberal Arts Scholarship
Funded by the Moraine Valley Foundation, this scholarship can be used for tuitionand education-related expenses at Moraine Valley.
Amount: $1,000
Eligibility: Must be enrolled in a program offered through Moraine Valley's Liberal Arts subdivision, be and remain a district resident, have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5, and carry a minimum of six credit hours.

Science and Business Scholarship
Funded by the Moraine Valley Foundation, this scholarship can be used for tuitionand education-related expenses at Moraine Valley.
Amount: $1,000
Eligibility: Must be enrolled in a program offered through Moraine Valley's Science and Business subdivision be and remain a district resident; have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5 and carry a minimum of six credit hours.
