The
mission of the Financial Aid Office is to provide a comprehensive
financial aid program to meet the immediate and long-term needs of a
diverse population of students through federal, state, institutional, and
private funds.
To accomplish this mission, we will:
Provide quality
financial aid and informational services for funding at the federal, state,
institutional, and private agency levels, including grants, scholarships,
work study employment, and loans to assist with the cost of college.
Provide personalized information
about application procedures, eligibility criteria and sources of aid to
students both on an individual basis and in group sessions both verbally and
via printed media to make students more knowledgeable about their rights and
responsibilities.
Provide quality customer service in
person and by telephone.
Award financial aid in a consistent
and equitable manner to all students.
Assist students in planning their
financial educational responsibilities with particular emphasis on debt
management via loan counseling sessions.
Remain current with all federal and
