Individuals or businesses can be nominated for as many award categories as qualified, but can only win in one category.

Submit a nomination form along with a brief description of the business or individual you are nominating to
schrimplee@morainevalley.edu, or mail your nomination to Moraine Valley Community College/EDCSS,
9000 W. College Parkway, Palos Hills, IL 60465-0937.

Nominate a business or individual who demonstrates strengths in the following areas:

Training and Developmentbusinesses that make a significant investment in their workforce by encouraging lifelong learning of their employees.

Sustainability—businesses committed to reducing their ecological footprint through the incorporation of environmentally sustainable practices.

Excellence in Government—a leader who demonstrates the foresight to create a healthy community through planning, economic development, leadership, and evidence of contributions made to the community.

Philanthropy—outstanding philanthropic contributions made by businesses and/or individuals to benefit the cultural, educational, medical, and social service agencies in the community.

Small Business and Entrepreneurial—businesses that have demonstrated continued growth measured by either an increase in the number of employees, sales, or volume.

Commitment to Diversity—a business that supports, strengthens and enhances business and employment opportunities to support diversity.

The nominee must be located or provide services in one of the following communities, or be a client of
Workforce Development and Community Services or Moraine Valley Community College.
