Procedure for Receiving In-District Tuition

The following procedure has been established to facilitate the registration process of those criminal justice education-training partnership students who are seeking in-district tuition rates to register for Moraine Valley courses.

• You must be employed by a criminal justice agency that conducts business in Community College District 524 (Moraine Valley).
• If you are eligible, contact your agency executive (chief, director,....) and request that an in-district tuition statement be prepared on your behalf on official agency stationary. 
  The following format should be used:

Date  __________

Dear Registrar - Moraine Valley Community College,

Please register [student's name] in the following course(s) for the [fall, spring, summer] semester at in-district tuition rates:

Student M. Name      SSN: 000-00-000
CRJ 101-01 spring 2001

The named student(s) resides out-of-district, but is employed by [the identified agency which conducts business within Community College District 524] - and/or is party to a Criminal Justice Education-Training Partnership with Moraine Valley.
