Upon successful completion of the Illinois Department of Corrections Control Tactics
Instructor training program, Corrections Officer recruits
will receive up to 3 college credit hours. To earn college credit, a recruit
must complete and submit a college application at the start of the
training program.

(30/31 Credit hours)
- As recognized, recruits will need only 28/27
credits to complete the certificate by taking courses at Moraine Valley and/or
receiving transfer
credit from another college.
