Information to support my staff role

As a Moraine Valley staff member I would like to establish an education-training partnership with a non-criminal justice agency that conducts business in District 524. What is my first step?
Establishing and Coordinating a Non-Criminal Justice Education-Training Partnership

Step 1
Review the three (3) general types of education-training partnerships to determine which would be the best match for the agency or institutional partnership being considered, and meet with your academic dean or appropriate supervisor to obtain approval to pursue the proposal.
Step 2
Meet with the agency or institutional representative to finalize agreement details, and submit the negotiated agreement to your academic dean or appropriate supervisor for approval.
Step 3
College office areas having a responsibility for one or more aspects of the approved agreement need to be informed of the partnership, perspectives discussed, and proper protocol finalized. One example is Admissions, Records, and Registration. Another is Academic Advising. A third is Counseling.
Step 4
Coordinate Partnership.

  1. A partnership involving delivery of a course at an agency site and the agency or students pay tuition would involve such details as getting the course on the schedule, getting an instructor to teach, giving students  a good orientation, etc.

  2. A partnership involving tuition free enrollment to agency employees for use of the agency facility to deliver a course would involve the approval routing of the Use of Facility Agreement, providing student orientation, facilitating the registration of students, etc.

  3. A partnership involving tuition free enrollment to agencies that deliver their own training would involve scheduling  of courses, conducting trainer briefings on college protocol, conducting student orientations, process  college course reports, etc.
