Exploring majors
and the world of work
 This step will help you explore college
majors and how they relate to occupations in the world of work. Sometimes you
know the major or program of study you want to pursue, but you aren't sure to
which occupation(s) your major can lead. The following links will help you
connect college majors to careers. Some Web sites will also provide links to
information about the suggested careers.
You are
encouraged to discuss with a counselor any of the information you gathered from
these Web sites. Stop by the Counseling and Career Development Center in
