Constant changes in the economy and technology greatly impact today’s work environments. Because of this, effective career planning requires active involvement and the ability to adapt to these changes. Planning a career is not a one-time choice but may take place throughout your working life.

This career development program involves assessing your interests, skills, and values; exploring careers that match your assessment profile; and exploring majors that complement your career interests.

• Step Two—Exploring Careers
  Start here if you have some occupations in mind but need more detailed information about each one.
• Step Three—Exploring Majors and the World of Work
  Start here if you have some ideas about a choice of college majors but want to explore the occupations to which these majors can lead.
