File a Complaint
Any Moraine Valley community member, including faculty, staff, or students, may file a complaint to raise a concern about another’s behavior or well-being. The preferred method of filing a complaint is to complete the Non-Academic Complaint Form and submit it to the Code of Conduct Office (U115). From there, the complaint will be forwarded to the appropriate department.
For emergencies or incidents that may involve criminal behaviors, a report should be filed with the Moraine Valley Police Department by calling (708) 974-5555. Any police report involving student misconduct will also be forwarded to the Code of Conduct Office for resolution. Otherwise, individuals who file a police report may also file a supplemental Non-Academic Complaint Form to give more information about an incident.
Note: Faculty and staff also may submit a complaint directly to the Code of Conduct Office through MVConnect: Forms > Judicial Affairs > Code of Student Conduct Report Form.
