The Code of Student Conduct has been established to control action going beyond the exercise of such rights, to maintain order on campus and to guarantee the broadest range of freedom for all who come to learn at Moraine Valley. This code reasonably limits some activities and prohibits certain behavior, which could interfere with the orderly operation of the college and the pursuit of its goals. Each student is responsible for knowledge of and compliance with this Code of Student Conduct, which is available through the Student Life Office, from the assistant dean of Student Life and Judicial Affairs (C160), from the vice president of Student Development (D201), or from the Moraine Valley Community College Police Department (Building 100). The college further recognizes each student's right to procedural due process, including notice, a speedy and fair hearing, and appeal. Any student cited for violation of the Code of Student Conduct will:
