Graduation update
Congratulations to the 2013 graduates! Regalia for the
graduation ceremony will only be available for purchase
through Wednesday,
8 p.m. If you plan to participate in the ceremony, get
to the Bookstore to buy your cap and gown before then.
Friends and family who cannot attend the ceremony can
watch it live on the
website. If you have any questions, call 974-5375 or
stop in D106.
Finals review sessions
Need some help studying for finals? The
Academic Skills Center is holding final exam review
sessions through Wednesday. Get help in
math, biology, chemistry, physics, and COM085.Sign up in
L200, by calling 974-5338 or email
Kathy.

Quiet lounges available
The Social
Cultural Lounge (U113) and the Quiet Lounge
(U108) will be available for students who need a
quiet area to study. The rooms will be dedicated
quiet lounges through Wednesday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Refreshments will be served while supplies last.
Sell your books!
Book buyback hours in the Bookstore are Mon.-Thurs.,
8 a.m.- 8 p.m., and Fri., 8 a.m.-5 p.m. You also can go to the Library
Mon.-Thurs., 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and Fri., 9
a.m.-noon; and both Blue Island and Tinley Park
campuses Wed.-Thurs., 2-8 p.m. A photo ID is
required to sell your books. All books rented
from the Bookstore must be returned to the main
campus by Friday.
Study in Belize!
Only eight spots remain for BIO-221,
Introduction to Marine Biology, for the spring
2014 semester! Students in that class will
travel to Belize, where they will journey to
protected marine reserves, explore a Mayan Ruin,
and sleep at the Belize Zoo. You will earn four
credit hours while studying corals, crabs, sea
grass beds, and more on the second largest
barrier reef in the world. For more information,
