The GED Program prepares adult students who have not completed a high school education to review the six major areas of the GED examination, including writing skills, social studies, science, interpreting arts/literature, mathematics, and the U.S./Illinois Constitutions. The ABE/pre-GED Program teaches basic skills in reading, writing and mathematics to students who have not completed their elementary or high school education. There is no tuition for these classes. Registration and placement tests are conducted on the first day of class. Please bring two #2 pencils with erasers, a pen, your social security number, and verification of withdrawal from high school if under age 19. Registration and testing will take about two hours. Please do not bring any children. Call (708) 974-5641 for information.

Registration and testing is Wednesday, June 4, 2008 promptly at 9 a.m. or 6 p.m.
9 a.m. – Noon Monday/Wednesday (In English) Class begins Monday, June 9, 2008 for 8 weeks.

El programa de Moraine Valley de la oportunidad de ser eligible para obtener el diploma equivalente a la ensenanza media. El diploma se da a aquella personas que no han terminado la ensenanza media, pero que pasan una serie de examenes que demuestran que sus conocimientos educacionales son semejantes a los de los estudiantes graduados en un colegio de ensenanza media, incluyendo matematica, ciencia, escrituras, y ciencias sociales. Por favor traiga dos lapices #2, una pluma, su numero de seguro social, verificación de la secundaria que no esta en la escuela para estudiantes menor de 19 años. La inscripción y examen durará como dos horas el primer día de clase. Clases son gratis. Los que lleguen primero serán atendidos.
