Tony Denovellis
Obtaining a Small Business Loan
Tony has over 12 years of experience in the banking industry. In his current role as regional manager for a large local bank, he manages more than 1,200 small business loans and accounts dispersed throughout 15 bank branches. Tony has assisted hundreds of small business clients to obtain a business loan.
Tony is recipient of the EDCSS 2002 Small Business Advocate of the Year Award and currently serves as the President of the Economic Development Council for the Southwest Suburbs.

Nancy DuCharme, M.B.A, J.D.
Small Business Legal Issues
Nancy is an attorney with her own law practice representing a diverse group of small businesses in various intellectual property matters. She has been practicing law since 1987, concentrating in trademark, copyright, advertising, computer law, and related areas. Nancy has a B.A. from St. Mary's College, an M.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Notre Dame, and a J.D. from DePaul University. In addition, Nancy is a senior faculty member at Keller Graduate School of Business, teaching law and ethics.

Maribeth Hearn, M.B.A
E-strategies for Success, Small Business Marketing Writing a Business Plan
Maribeth owns and operates an Internet solutions company and a boutique. She holds a B.A. from Northern Illinois University in Spanish business translation with an emphasis in international business and earned an M.B.A. from Governors State University, and has been a marketing speaker for many local business associations and government programs. She is an officer on four boards of directors for business associations and organizations and serves as vice president of the Economic Development Council for the Southwest Suburbs.

Jim Jeziorny, B.S.C., C.P.A.
Accounting and Bookkeeping Basics
Jim brings more than 20 years of controllership experience to Moraine Valley. He currently works for various small businesses that have outsourced their controllership functions. His work in numerous industries, including construction, service, and manufacturing, allows him to understand the financial reporting needs of all types of businesses. Jim has a B.S.C. from DePaul University.

Carl "Buzz" Van Hecke, B.S.
Basics of Starting a Business, Effective Sales Techniques to Increase Revenues
Buzz has extensive experience in sales and marketing. He enjoyed a 25-year career with Andrew Corporation, where he progressed from sales engineer to U.S. sales manager. He now runs his own company, Investment Enhancing Systems Inc., an investor training software company. Buzz also works with entrepreneurs as a chair for TEC, an organization that provides personal and professional development to CEOs. Buzz has a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
