College is more than attending classes and studying. At Moraine Valley Community College, you can pursue current interests and discover new ones, develop leadership skills, and create lifelong friendships by getting involved in athletics and student life.
Whether you are an aspiring athlete, a budding journalist, a future politician, or you just want to meet new people with similar interests, Moraine Valley offers over 50 clubs, organizations, and sports.
Moraine Valley has 12 sports teams for men and women, including soccer, basketball, golf, cross country, tennis, volleyball, baseball, and softball. The college is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association and the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference.
The college also offers intramural sports including basketball and whiffle ball, where students, faculty, and staff can play regardless of physical ability or skill level.
For those who are not interested in athletics, the college has a variety of organizations such as an award-winning speech team and student newspaper, student government, and several honors societies. Club offerings include everything from anime to martial arts as well as dance teams to cultural-based clubs.
