The 2013-14 season is Delwyn Jones' 14th year as head coach of the Moraine Valley women's basketball team. Jones has been named Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference coach of the year for five seasons: 2009-10, 2008-09, 2007-08, 2006-07, and 2003-04.

As a four-sport athlete (football, basketball, baseball, and cross-country) at Luther South High School, Jones captained his basketball and baseball teams. He also received All-Conference honors in basketball and baseball, leading the Private School League in steals (baseball) as a junior. He is still active in recreational sports.

Jones, an associate professor of Communications/Speech at the college, received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Western Illinois University. He also is president of the Moraine Valley Faculty Association.

 
  Jeff Larson
Assistant Coach

Jeff Larson has been a Cyclones assistant coach since 2008 and played for the Cyclones from 2002-04. A graduate of Carl Sandburg High School, he continued his playing career at North Central College in Naperville, where he earned a bachelor's degree in sports management. He has worked with the professional women's basketball team, the Chicago Sky.
