Women's Soccer—Coaches
Jim Knawa, as of 2009, is in his fifth season at
the helm of Moraine Valley's women's soccer, and has been actively involved in coaching various
youth sports in several capacities since 1980. He began coaching soccer on a
recreational basis in 1990 and has been associated with high school competitive
teams in their off-seasons, as well as being involved in several youth athletic
boards and councils.

Aaron Viramontes

Aaron Viramontes starts his first
year as the women’s assistant coach. He grew up playing soccer in Mexico before
moving to Illinois. He played soccer at St. Joseph High School in Chicago
followed by two years at Moraine Valley and continues to play recreationally
with a Chicago club. Viramontes most recently coached youths in Chicago from
2007 to 2008.
