Cyclones sign Carrasco
The Cyclones strengthened their 2015 roster even more by signing midfielder
Erick Carrasco, a George Washington High School graduate, currently competing
for Morelia in the Chicago Latin American Soccer Association (CLASA).
“Erick is an experienced player who will add balance and attacking guile to our already strong roster for next season. He's been a strong player at the highest amateur level in Chicago since graduating from George Washington. Erick also is a leader on and off the field that will, no doubt, add a level of sophistication to our play next season,” said head Coach Chuck Bales. “His signing will have a huge knock-on effect with the players on the team. I'm looking for it to be a catalyst for a fantastic season. With Erick now on the team, the combinations of outstanding players on the field next season is mouth-watering.”

Cyclones sign first recruit for fall
The Cyclones signed their first player for the fall season—Stefan Mijatovic.
Mijatovic comes from York High School, where he scored 24 goals and had seven assists his senior year before a late season injury. He was 2014 Illinois High School Soccer Coaches Association All-Sectional, Suburban Life All-Area boys MVP and DuPage County All-Area honorable mention.
“Stefan is a college-ready athlete who will bring a degree of pace and power that we have not seen in our attacking line for a few seasons. He has the potential to not only score bucket-loads of goals but also raise the level of everyone around him,” said head Coach Chuck Bales.
