Men's Golf—Coaches
Bob
Freudenthal is in his 22nd season as head coach of the Moraine Valley men's golf
team. In the 2008 and 2009 seasons he coached the team to their fifth and sixth
conference championships, along with a trip to their first national tournament
in 2008 where the Cyclones finished in 17th place. In the last three seasons,
2008-2010, Freudenthal has had golfers
advance to the nationals. Freudenthal was named 2009 Skyway Conference
Coach of the Year, and also earned the honor in 2008, 2003, 2002, 2000, and 1996.
In addition
to coaching the college's golf team, Freudenthal is a PGA golf professional.
Freudenthal,
a retired professor of Psychology at Moraine Valley, earned a master's degree in
Psychology from
Chicago State University. |
